Sensei Melvin

Sensei Melvin commenced training in the Martial Arts at 18 years of age practicing Nippon Kempo for several years, during which time he helped established and teach at clubs in Birmingham and other areas of the UK, and competed in national and international competitions in the UK, Japan and Italy.
Following on from Kempo, and having a deep interest in the history and culture of Japan, Sensei Melvin was fortunate enough to meet Sensei Ian Griffiths and be introduced to the arts of Aiki Ju Jutsu, Ken Justsu, and Jo Jutsu as taught within the Kaze Arashi Ryu. Sensei Melvin has been practicing and teaching these arts for over 30 years.
Sensei Melvin is a full time professional working in Aerospace and Defence sectors, developing strategies and solutions, and providing consultancy to clients across Defence, MoJ, Policing.

Sensei Crosby is a long time student of the system who has trained with dedication for over 20 years.
Sensei Crosby is currently living and teaching in Japan
